Dr. Collin Yong currently holds the distinguished position of Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, and a member of the Canadian Pediatrics Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Yong’s twenty years of clinical experience have seen him as Attending at the Craniofacial Clinic at BC Children's Hospital, specializing in General Pediatrics, Newborn care, and Pediatrics Emergency, and extends to Shanghai, where he was Chair of Pediatrics at United Family Hospital 和睦家.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yong has served as a volunteer in international medical missions in areas of disasters such as the South Asian Tsunami, Philippines Haiyan, Japanese Tohoku Tsunami, and several others. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Yong and his incredible precision, remarkable patient care, and extensive surgical experience to our team at Skin Matters.

This summer, Skin Matters had the pleasure of welcoming the exceptionally talented Dr. Nina He, who will be taking on the prestigious role as our Medical Director. A distinguished graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine, Dr. He completed her family practice residency at the University of Alberta and earned an honors postgraduate diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. With over six years of experience in injectables and extensive training in aesthetics both locally and internationally, Dr. He has attended events such as the International Master Course on Aging Science (IMCAS) in Paris and the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging World Congress (AMWC) in Monaco. She is certified by the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the National Laser Institute.Dr. He is deeply committed to ensuring that each patient not only looks and feels their best but also feels heard and understood through a collaborative consultation process. Her dedication to excellence is evident in her continuous training with leading industry experts and her participation in both local and international aesthetic conferences, ensuring that her knowledge and skills remain at the forefront of safety, innovation, and precision.Beyond her passion for aesthetics and skincare, Dr. He is an avid yogi and dancer, as well as an art enthusiast who nurtures her creative talents in painting, origami, and jewelry design.
