Body Contouring in Vancouver

What Is Body Contouring?
Body contouring, also known as body sculpting, targets specific areas on your body where stubborn fat exists—areas that you find bothersome and difficult to target with regular exercise and a healthy diet. Body sculpting in Vancouver at Skin Matters can target key muscle groups in the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and arms to tighten, strengthen and reduce fat, address submental fullness (“double chin”), and tighten your skin to promote a more toned silhouette.
If you’re interested in reshaping one or more areas without undergoing an invasive procedure, our body sculpting treatments could be just the solution for you.
How Does Body Sculpting Work?
Body sculpting in Vancouver at Skin Matters works by removing pockets of fat using ultrasound, radiofrequency (RF) technology, and injectables. How your targeted areas is sculpted or contoured depends on the treatment method you choose. The tools and technologies we use for our body sculpting treatments have been rigorously tested and proven to tone the stomach, thighs, arms, and other areas in a safe and pain-free manner.
Are You a Candidate for Body Contouring?
You should consider undergoing a body sculpting treatment at Skin Matters if you have areas of concern on your body that don’t seem to respond to regular exercise and a healthy diet. Generally, the best candidates for body sculpting in Vancouver are non-smokers and individuals who have not been diagnosed with medical conditions that could impair their healing process.
You should also be at a stable, maintainable weight and have realistic goals about your outcomes.
If you want to nurture a healthier and more positive body image, our team can determine if you’re a candidate for one or more of our body sculpting treatments. If you are, we’ll create a customized treatment plan that addresses your goals and aligns with your budget.

Body Contouring Treatments at Skin Matters
Belkyra™
This injectable body sculpting treatment is ideal for patients who have submental fat, also known as a “double chin.” Belkyra™ reduces excess fat around the jawline, neck, and underneath your chin. The main ingredient of this injectable is deoxycholic acid, which is proven to permanently and effectively destroy fat cells.
EmSculpt®
EmSculpt® is a unique body sculpting treatment that utilizes High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic technology (HIFEM) to trigger deep muscle stimulation. By causing your supramaximal muscles to contract, this treatment works well to tone and strengthen your abdominal muscles and/or buttocks.
EXION RF BODY
A popular skin tightening treatment, EXION RF Body combines ultrasound and RF technology to deliver targeted heat to fat cells, causing them to break down—a process known as lipolysis. It treats skin laxity issues by tightening the skin while simultaneously stimulating collagen production, which will give your skin a healthier, more firm, and smoother appearance.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 rejuvenates your skin and treats unwanted fat deposits by pairing microneedling with RF energy. Creating precise micro-injuries using ultra-thin needles with adjustable depths makes this a great body sculpting treatment for a variety of areas, including the jowls, abdomen, upper knees, among others.
Sculptra®
A type of dermal filler, Sculptra® involves injecting poly-L-lactic acid into the skin. In addition to encouraging your skin to produce more collagen, Sculptra® softens contours and increases volume in certain areas. If you prefer an hourglass silhouette, for instance, our team at Skin Matters could inject Sculptra® in the area between your upper thighs and hip bone to help you achieve a more contoured appearance.
Thermage®
Thermage® remodels collagen in your skin using RF technology. This body sculpting treatment in Vancouver can be applied to areas such as your neck, face, thighs, and abdomen. Tightening and re-contouring the skin with a collagen-boosting treatment not only lifts and supports the skin but also improves its appearance and texture.
